SALZBURG

Today we do some more exploring in and in the immediate vicinity of Salzburg. We may visit one of the nearby salt mines and dress like the ancient miners in protective leather gear and enter the mine by sliding down an extremely long ramp. Or if the weather is especially nice, we may visit the nearby “Eagle’s Nest” where over half a century ago Hitler and his cronies enjoyed great luxury homes and a priceless view.
