7) WHAT TYPE OF ACCOMMODATION WILL THERE BE ON THESE TRIPS ?

Whenever we stay in hotels, standard accommodations are double occupancy with a private bath.
Single room requests will be filled whenever possible and single room supplement prices apply. Please note that in Europe, single rooms are generally not quite as large as double rooms.
On our canoe trips in northern Canada, once we leave base camp, we will stay in high quality tents. We usually place two adults in each four-man tent. The first night in base camp is usually spent in a cabin, sleeping three to four people, in order to allow an early start next morning.

8) I AM TRAVELLING ALONE, WHO WILL BE MY ROOMMATE ?
If you request a roommate, we can usually pair you up with one (of the same gender) . If no roommate is available, there is no extra charge as long as you sign up 90 days in advance of trip departure. If you sign up less than 90 days before trip departure, a single supplement will apply.

9) DO YOU HAVE SPECIAL RATES FOR YOUTHS OR CHILDREN ?

Children 9 - 12 receive a 20% discount, children 13 -16 receive a 10 % discount.
Due to the active nature of our trips, they are not quite suitable for children younger than nine years of age.

10) CAN OUR TEENAGER HAVE HIS/HER OWN ROOM ?

Minors under 18 must share a room with an adult family member or adult family friend. When such a roommate is not available, children 16 through 17 years may have a separate room; the single supplement applies.
