After
an excellent breakfast we take a taxi to the Südbahnhof and board the
Train to Graz, the second largest city in Austria after Vienna. Graz
lies on the south side of the Alps about 200km west of Vienna. This
wonderfully preserved medieval city faces towards the Adriatic Sea not
too far away and has a very mild climate. We check into our hotel and
then enjoy a short walking tour of the old centre of the town before
indulging ourselves with another culinary feast in a restaurant
celebrating the wonderful local cuisine. |
