Danube Itinerary Day 3

Our Journey begins...

Today we bike to the historical "Three-River-City" of Passau. We enjoy a short walking tour through the "old" part of the city and finally end up at the Domplatz or the cathedral square. We visit the the wonderful baroque Dom, where we also listen to the daily organ concert at noon (daily except Sundays and holidays).

As we leave Passau, we follow the southern bank of the Danube until we get to Obernzell where we cross the river on a ferry. Along flat or slightly downhill designated bike paths we ride along the left bank (northern) of the river until we reach Schlögen where another bike ferry takes us across the river to our hotel.
