Visit to McMichael “ Group of Seven” Gallery
Today we go on a trip to a world-famous institution, the McMichael Art Gallery which is nestled among the rolling hills about 40 km (25mi) northwest of the city. This is the home of most of the works of artists which belonged to the famous "Group of Seven", who portrayed the Canadian Wilderness in all its grandeur and beauty.

The gallery also has a wonderful collection of rare Inuit sculptures and carvings ranging in size from a giant whale's pelvic bone to the very tiny ivory carvings fashioned from pieces of walrus teeth.

We have lunch and may enjoy a walk in the park before returning to Toronto in the afternoon.

Once again, the afternoon is ours to do with what we please, and perhaps we will attend one of the many musicals or Broadway shows that run in one of the many theatres in Toronto. Besides London and New York, Toronto has more English language theatres than any other city in the world.
